  • 107 Duke of Gloucester Street. Originally built in 1670. Home of one of Annapolis's earliest families, including one of four Maryland signers of the Declaration of Independence. Open limited hours.
  • Chase-Lloyd House

  • 22 Maryland Avenue. Georgian mansion built during Annapolis's Golden Age for a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Open limited hours.
  • First Presbyterian Church

  • 144 Conduit Street. Congregation formally organized in 1846; church building dedicated in 1847.
  • Hammond-Harwood House

  • 19 Maryland Avenue. Fine classic dwelling built during Annapolis's Golden Age.Open most days for tours.
  • Maryland State House

  • State Circle. The oldest state house still in legislative use. Guided tours daily.
  • Peggy Stewart House

  • 207 Hanover Street. Eighteenth-century Georgian residence occupied by Thomas Stone, signer of the Declaration of Independence.
  • St. Anne's Episcopal Church

  • Church Circle. Congregation organized in late 17th century; present church completed in 1859.
  • St. John's College

  • Liberal arts college founded in Annapolis in 1696; known for its "great books" curriculum.
  • St. Margaret's Episcopal Church

  • 1601 Pleasant Plains Road. Parish founded in 1692; present church completed in 1895.
  • United States Naval Academy

  • Established in Annapolis in 1845; now a 338-acre complex with visitors center, museum, walking tours. National Historic Landmark.
